Front of House Manager

(Full-time)

Red Deer Memorial Centre 

Schedule: Flexible (evenings, weekends, split shifts required) 

Reports to: Executive Director 

Works closely with: Operations & Technical Manager 

Requirements: Reliable transportation 

The Front of House Manager ensures every patron has a safe, welcoming, and well-run experience at the Red Deer Memorial Centre. This role leads front-of-house operations, volunteer teams, bar/concession services, and provides operational oversight to the box office team to keep public-facing services running smoothly year-round. 

This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for a confident, experienced FOH leader who can run busy event nights, coach teams, and build systems that make everything smoother the next time.

Venue Technician

(Contract | On-Call Roster)

Red Deer Memorial Centre 

Central Alberta Theatre is building a roster of experienced venue technicians for on-call shifts supporting live performances, rehearsals, and rentals (often evenings/weekends). Work includes operating house audio/lighting/basic AV, supporting load-ins/outs, maintaining safe backstage practices, and helping events run smoothly under the Operations & Technical Manager. If you’ve got live event experience (especially lighting), reliable transportation, and you’re calm under pressure, we want to hear from you.
